Eldritch Skies, also called John Snead's Eldritch Skies, is a role-playing game and campaign setting that combines the Cthulhu Mythos with science fiction. The first edition of the game used the Cinematic Unisystem and was Kickstarted in 2012; the setting was adapted for Savage Worlds in 2014, also as part of a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Cinematic Unisystem role-playing game[]

Eldritch Skies presents a complete role-playing game using the Cinematic Unisystem rules.

This game won the 2013 ENnie for the Judge's Spotlight Award, and was a nominee for the Best Role-playing Game at the 2013 UK Games Expo.[1]

Savage Worlds edition[]

John Snead's Eldritch Skies presents setting information that would allow groups to play a game in the setting using the rules for Savage Worlds, but it requires the Savage Worlds core rulebook to play. A publication error meant that the blurb on the back of the book claimed that the game contained complete rules based on Cinematic Unisystem, the same as the first edition of the game.[3]

A supplement for this book was released in March 2014, called Distant Vistas.[4]
