Fandom, also written FANDOM and previously known as Wikia and Wikicities, is a media company and brand. It was founded in October 2004 as a for-profit wiki-hosting service, and primarily focuses on media franchises. Fandom (specifically its Fandom Tabletop division) is also a publisher of role-playing games and role-playing related material, including:
- D&D Beyond (purchased from Curse LLC in December 2018)
- Cortex, published as Cortex Prime (purchased from Margaret Weis Productions in September 2019)[1]
Fandom is the host of numerous RPG wikis, including RPG Museum.
On 25 July 2020, Fandom Tabletop announced that they would be producing Tales of Xadia, a licensed role-playing game based on the Netflix series The Dragon Prince, to be released in 2021.[2] On 8 August 2020, they announced that they would be producing Legends of Grayskull, a licensed game based on the Masters of the Universe franchise, also to be released in 2021. Both games are marked as Primed by Cortex.[3]
