A spell card or spellbook card is a reference document printed in the format of a playing card that contains the rules and statistics for a single magic spell in a specific game such as Dungeons & Dragons. Generally, spell cards are sold in decks. The spell card format allows a few relevant cards to be dealt out and referred to as needed, rather than needing to consult a cumbersome rulebook.
