Fishblade is a meme that emerged during the OGL Kerfuffle. The original tweet[1] mocked RPG players that thought, finally, their D&D group would be ready to adopt an idiosyncratic indie game. A certain amount of levity and derision was expressed on each side of the indie divide.
The meme inspired a number of actual RPGs, parodying the concept or embodying in it in various fashions.
