Random Tables are tables of typically two columns, one for an independent sequential numeric variable and one for an associated "outcome" or result. For example, a small Loot Random Table will be used when a character finds themselves at a treasure chest and the contents are not certain, but the GM has determined it could be one of six items. The random table used will have 6 rows, one for each side of a 6-sided die (d6). The table will have 2 columns, one for die number and one for the resulting item. Rolling a 3 will result in the character receiving whatever item is in the second column of the 3rd row.
