Reincorporation is the process or skill of taking concepts that have previously been introduced in a role-playing game and reintroducing them into the game world later on. This is good practice for all players but particularly for GMs, as it can add depth and verisimilitude to a game world and improve engagement for the players, while also cutting down on the ideas that need to be created from scratch.

Some game mechanics, such as motifs in Swords Without Master, use or encourage reincorporation.
