A satyr, faun or silenos is a creature from Greek and Roman mythology. It is a are bipedal creature with the legs and tail of a goat and the head, torso, and arms of a man. They are also often depicted with goat's horns and pointed ears. In role-playing games and other modern fantasy, they are often included in lists of fairies.

Satyrs appear in games like Dungeons & Dragons, in which they are fey creatures. Satyrs are a playable race in some editions, including most recently 5th edition in the book Mythic Odysseys of Theros.
Satyrs are a playable Kith in Changeling: The Dreaming, connected with the emotions of passion and freedom.
In Shadowrun, Satyrs are a Mediterranean metavariant of orks, and a playable metahuman race. Wild satyrs more similar to their mythological antecedents also exist.
