I'm not sure about lumping this in with advantages and such. Advantages have their own characteristics, and feats have a specific relationship with d20 style games. PlatonicSolid (talk) 13:26, January 15, 2020 (UTC)

I agree with you on this subject. The reason I merged the pages was less because I thought they belonged together and more because I needed to free up the advantage page to talk about the dice mechanic in D&D 5E, which is now by far the most common use of the term in role-playing circles. (I'm making that change now.) I wouldn't mind splitting them out again, if you have a new preferred page name for advantages? -- Supermorff (talk) 17:00, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
I'm thinking advantage (dice) versus advantage (trait). Thoughts?  PlatonicSolid (talk) 02:46, January 16, 2020 (UTC)

I think at a higher level I want to point out that D&D feats are a type of advantage, but not all advantages are feats. For instance, in GURPS you spend points on advantages, you don't accumulate them by leveling up. Feat specifically means the things in d20 games, and this page should be about that.  PlatonicSolid (talk) 08:56, January 16, 2020 (UTC)

I like both of these suggestions, and have rewritten the pages so that feats are now described as a type of advantage (trait). -- Supermorff (talk) 09:58, January 17, 2020 (UTC)
