The Black Company is a licensed fantasy role-playing game and d20 System campaign setting based on the The Black Company series of novels by Glen Cook. It was published by Green Ronin Publishing, one of their Mythic Vistas series of sourcebooks for the D20 System. It was written by Robert J. Schwalb, Owen K.C. Stephens, and Scott Gearin, with cover art by Wayne Reynolds.
Green Ronin published the hardcover of The Black Company as one of several very expensive books despite the company's financial problems at the time.[1]:373
