A unicorn from Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.

The unicorn is a legendary creature depicted as a beast with a single large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead. Its common depictions in fantasy and role-playing games come from European medieval folklore, in which it usually resembles a horse (except for the addition of its horn), although it may have features from other animals (e.g. cloven hooves or a goat-like beard). In folklore, it was a very wild woodland creature that could only be tamed by a virgin, which over time has caused it to be connected with purity, grace, nature, and magic. Sometimes it has healing powers in its horn.

Unicorns sometimes appear in fantasy role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons.
